What I Really Think About 13th Colony’s Southern Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Hello, fellow cocktail enthusiasts! I realize it's been a hot minute since I sent an email, but it's been a little hectic around the Bourbony bar the last couple of months and time has been at a premium. Annnnd since this isn't my full-time job (although I'm willing to make it so if someone's willing to pay me...), other priorities have taken precedence.

So About This Bourbon...

I just posted my review of Thirteenth Colony Distilleries' Southern Straight Bourbon Whiskey on the web site. I've enjoyed several bottles of this over the past couple of years, but finally thought I should sit down and write up my thoughts.

In other news...

I have a lovely pineapple sage and lavender liqueur steeping in the pantry. In another week or two it'll be ready to strain and filter into jars, and after that, look out for some unique cocktails. (Some might even be based on something other than bourbon! <gasp!>)
